The Young Peace champions (YPC) programme will over a 2 year period successfully engage 38 passionate young people in a full time 8month supported volunteer role. 

The young people will be:

• 18-25 years

• Based in London

• From the NEET or BME categories or at a crossroad and therefore notin education. These groups of young people are underrepresented in thevolunteer sector.

The Young Peace Champions will have a unique range ofhigh profile and influential opportunities. Through this programme they will make a significant impact on community issues in Londonby engaging with local and national policy makers, the police and other statutory and voluntary organisations.
